Kembrey Park: I was picking raspberries on my allotment this lunchtime when all the Kembrey Park gulls went up. Looking to see what was up, there was a Red Kite circling right overhead. Naturally I didn't have a camera with me, but enjoyed watching the Kite for a few minutes until it moved off to the north. Perhaps this is one of the birds D Heskett saw on the 18th July. (Sue Clayson)

Royal Wootton Bassett: At 1430 today over Church Street allotments, in the air at the same time 1 Red Kite and 10 Hawks. To be fair that should be 1 Juvenile Red Kite, 1 RAF A400M and 10 Red Arrows (What’s the extra one for). I Just couldn’t get the Kite into the same photo.  I got  a few with gulls in but not the Kite. Excuse the quality of the photos, the light was awful and too strong, with shadows and haze. The photo makes the bird look a bit like a Black Kite but I am sure it was a Red Kite. Definitely a juvenile with white edges to the wing coverts. (Bob Philpott)
